4. Selezionare "Colloca tutti i certificati nel seguente archivio" e premere "Sfoglia...". 5. Scegliere "Persone attendibili" (Trusted People), quindi "OK". ENGLISH ------- This test certificate is required to install the signed ZipGenius X Alpha context menu. Importing it requires an administrator account. Setup does not install the certificate automatically. Keep these files in the same folder: - ZipGenius-X-Alpha.cer: the public certificate, without a private key. - CERTIFICATE.txt: the certificate name, fingerprints and expiry date. - The ZipGenius X Alpha setup EXE. BEFORE YOU START Compare the SHA-256 fingerprint in CERTIFICATE.txt with the one provided by the developer through the agreed channel. SHA256SUMS also contains the .cer file checksum. The certificate subject must be "CN=ZipGenius X Alpha". CERTIFICATE IMPORT WIZARD 1. Double-click ZipGenius-X-Alpha.cer. 2. In the certificate window, click "Install Certificate...". 3. Select "Local Machine", then "Next". If Windows asks, authorize the operation using an administrator account. 4. Select "Place all certificates in the following store" and click "Browse...". 5. Select "Trusted People", then click "OK". Do not select "Trusted Root Certification Authorities" or "Trusted Publishers": these are different stores. 6. Click "Next", then "Finish". Wait for the successful import message. 7. Close the certificate window and launch the setup EXE using your normal account. Do not use "Run as different user". POWERSHELL ALTERNATIVE Open PowerShell as administrator, change to the folder containing the .cer file and run this command: Import-Certificate -FilePath '.\ZipGenius-X-Alpha.cer' -CertStoreLocation 'Cert:\LocalMachine\TrustedPeople' IF CONTEXT MENU INSTALLATION FAILS Check that the certificate was imported into "Local Machine" > "Trusted People", rather than the current user's store. Also check your PC's date and the expiry date in CERTIFICATE.txt, then run Setup again. A test signature does not guarantee SmartScreen reputation and does not make this preview suitable for production use. REMOVING THE CERTIFICATE When testing is complete, uninstall ZipGenius X Alpha. Open certlm.msc as administrator, go to "Trusted People" > "Certificates" and remove only the ZipGenius X Alpha certificate matching the thumbprint listed in CERTIFICATE.txt. Do not remove other certificates. This preview is still under development. Use on production systems is not permitted because irreversible data loss may occur. Use copies of test data only.
